Sign design

Names of people in my group: nezinli, toko, nathaniel

Your task is to design a sign that will clearly assist in eliminating a problem within our school.

- Make sure you are clear what the task is.
- Can you identify the key words in this task (highlight them and discuss it with a buddy)

Thinking about signs and signage (Make a list of all the signs you have seen ….. and the purpose of the sign )
Type of sign:Purpose of the sign:
No smoking Keep a smoke free area. No smoking inside.
Give wayTraffic sign. Look out for traffic e.g cars/ trains/ buses
Slow downNear a desertion crossing. Traffic sign.
No cats and dogs Pick up their droppings before you leave.
No running across the road When there are no traffic lights.
ExitOnly certain ways to go out of buildings.



Brainstorm some Ideas/ problems that we have around our school environment.

*Be careful with the grass and garden
*Don’t throw your rubbish on the ground
*No running in places
*Take off your shoes when you inter your class room
*Play sensible gund the out side
*Stay in bounds


ISSUE CHOICE AND JUSTIFICATION

You need to think and expand on your answers, one setence is not sufficient.
You have to stay in bounds because if you go out of bounds then you will get in a big growling.
What is your issue in our school?
People don’t listen to the rules in our schools.

Who does it affect?
Mostly our principles and teachers.

Why is it happening in our school?
Because people are really naughty.

When does it happen?
During school and after school.

Where is it happening?
At school and all of our community.

What needs to happen to prevent this issue?
For people to start learning if not then they are absolutely naughty.

Term 2 highlights

Term 2 highlights:
My biggest thing I enjoyed this term is making a lot of friends and playing new things. I enjoyed playing the most was when we use to play touch on the field. We stopped playing touch because people always play rugby cards and do their own things.

I like playing on my net books because it is more interesting and faster. I like my net book and it is really precious to me and it is my treasure and no one is allowed to go on it except me. I was so happy when we got our net books, but the only thing I didn’t like about it was that it was flat and we only had a little bit minutes left before it shuts down.

What I like about this term was that I had a really nice teacher and she was really kind and she gave many chances to make things right when I got things wrong. My teachers name is Miss Lagitupu and she is one of the best teacher I’ve ever had.

Last day at cooking:

Today it was a blast because we made a little pita bread pizza and it looked really nice. While we were making it the pineapple made me thirsty, I just felt like drinking it.

Our ingredients were pineapple, ham, cheese, sauce, pita bread, and last but not least chicken. When Mrs Heka yelled out “Number1 Number1”! our group rushed up to the sink and took our tray that had 3 pita breads. We were doing our dishes while we were waiting for the delicious made by my own hands.

As it came out it looked really delicious and it was steaming like an bull. As I took the first bite it was so delicious and I reckon I will be a great cheif cook.
